What about the future?
At some point we may introduce a small set of paid extras — things that make the app a little more comfortable to use, like extra customization, advanced exports, or convenience features for power users. None of it will paywall the core tool.
The mission doesn't change: give people a tool they can actually rely on, and build a community around it. The free plan stays free. The features that ship today stay free.
If SELV grows
The Founders Circle.
SELV exists because of the people who use it — really use it, level up, send feedback, find bugs, and push the product forward. If SELV ever does well financially, those people deserve to share in that.
The Founders Circle is our way of doing that. The exact mechanics are still being designed, but the principle is set: heavy, engaged users — the ones who hit later bands, log consistently, and shape the product through their feedback — will be invited to share in the upside. Think of it as ownership earned through use, not bought.
When we have something concrete to announce, the people on the waitlist will be the first to know.

Is SELV really free?
Yes. Every feature on this page is free, with no time limit and no credit card required. There is no Pro tier today.
Will it always be free?
The tool will. The features that exist today will stay free. We may eventually add small paid extras — quality-of-life conveniences for people who want them — but we will not paywall the core experience. That's a commitment.
What kind of paid extras might come later?
We don't have specifics yet. The kinds of things we'd consider: extra customization options, advanced export formats, convenience features for very heavy users. Nothing that's required to use SELV the way it's meant to be used.
What's the Founders Circle?
A way for the people who actively use and shape SELV to share in its success if and when it grows. Details are still being designed. The principle: ownership earned through use, not bought.
Can I export my data?
Yes, in CSV. Your data is yours, always.
How does SELV make money, then?
Right now, it doesn't. SELV is bootstrapped. Future paid extras and the Founders Circle program are how we expect to fund ongoing development without compromising the core tool.
What about my privacy?
No tracking. No data selling. Your data lives in our database with row-level security and is exportable any time you want it.
