Flexible scheduling
for real life.
Not every habit is daily. Not every routine should be. SELV supports four scheduling types so your task list reflects how you actually live — and only shows you what's relevant today.
Scheduling cadences
Shows up every day. For habits you want to build as part of your daily routine.
Examples
- –Drink 2 litres of water
- –Morning skincare
- –Read for 15 minutes
Active every Monday. For habits you want to do once per week without specifying the day.
Examples
- –Vacuum the apartment
- –Water the plants
- –Order weekly groceries
Active every other Monday (reference date: 2024-01-01). For less frequent recurring tasks.
Examples
- –Haircut
- –Wash floors
- –Change bed sheets
Pick specific days of the week (e.g., Mon + Thu, or just weekends). Maximum flexibility.
Examples
- –Gym (Mon, Wed, Fri)
- –Meal prep (Sunday)
- –Call family (Sat + Sun)
Task weights (1–5)
Not all habits are equal. A blood glucose check matters more than watering the plants. Weight determines how much XP each task earns and how much it affects your completion score. You decide what matters most.
A nice-to-do. Missing it has minimal impact on your day.
e.g. Water the plants
A small but positive habit. Worth doing, worth tracking.
e.g. Morning skincare
A meaningful habit that genuinely affects how you feel.
e.g. Drink 2 litres of water
An important habit that requires effort and consistency.
e.g. 20+ push-ups
Non-negotiable. Health, discipline, or safety critical.
e.g. Blood glucose check
5 life categories
Every task belongs to one of five life categories. These categories power the radar chart on your character screen — so you can see at a glance which dimensions of your life are thriving and which need attention.
Set up once. Track forever.
Most users have their tasks configured in under 10 minutes. After that, the app just shows you what's due today.
